Hi Helpers,

Can anyone help me in understanding these values in the 810.cs at 004010 version of X12 EDI.

private string d_143_1Field;
private string d_329_2Field;
private string d_1705_3Field;

I find these at the public partial class S_ST.

Srini.

Please have a look at the X12 format documentation.

The format of this value names is really simple:
  • The first part "d" is the "Data Value" identifier and is used for properties which area data elements.
  • The second part is "xxx", a number identifier for data element, which is diferent according to each specification of X12.
  • And the last part is de order identifier. Is the order in which the value should be placed on the X12 serialized file.
For example, for X12 810 - 5010 specification the data element 143 corresponds to "Transaction Set Identifier Code" and for example is the first element on the ST segment.

Hope this helps.
